Two weeks ago marked Your Favourite Muse two years anniversary; on the 21st of January, I turned 21 and my blog turned two too. I intended of having a thank you post on that day or close by at least, but I was lost on what to say. I was torn in between thanking every single one of you for the endless support and love you’ve shown to expressing the feeling of loss and un-fulfilment I’ve had with my blog lately.

It started with me not having as much time to put into writing content for my post, to me not even being able to think of what to write or even being able to write what I want to say and then before I knew it that feeling of excitement and creativity I felt towards blogging began to fade. I no longer felt that sense of urge and satisfaction to create new content, I slowly began to feel nothing towards blogging. It would have been hard to tell because I was still creating new content, still shooting and posting pictures, but if you noticed I stopped sharing my work as much as I used to and literally just began to do the bare minimum.

Over the past two years of blogging, I’ve lost myself and found myself, to then lose myself and find who I want to be all over again and in the midst of all that I’ve figured out, that is the cycle of life. Throughout each up and down, I’ve tried to be as transparent as I could; through my chit-chats in my outfit posts, life updates and destination recaps just because I’m more than just a girl who likes to wear nice clothes and travel from country to country and I wanted you guys to see that.

Right now, I won’t lie I’m still in that lost stage, trying to rebrand myself and my blog, trying to decide what I want to do in a few months after I graduate from university and how exactly I’m going to achieve all these goals I’ve set for myself.

This is probably the most random and obscured post but its 4 am and thought it was about time I made that two-years anniversary post and start the next chapter. So here we are, this is Chapter III, may it be a chapter of more growth blessings, opportunities and accomplishments.

Billykiss.
