“I travel a lot not because I have to, but because the opportunity is there and if I can, why not!”

So here we are, at the end of yet another chapter. Crazy to think this is my third time now and I still don’t know how to start this post. How do I recap a place that despite me living in for 5 months I still don’t really feel like I lived? The truth of the matter is, this time as I say goodbye to another destination although I feel excited and ready to come home, I also feel somehow disappointed in myself as I’m left with regrets. Disappointed in myself for not doing more, experiencing more, eating more, speaking French more and not really experiencing Brussels or Belgium as much as I could.

Nevertheless, I am still grateful for this opportunity that I had. I completed 20 weeks of placement in a great firm and really did had an eventful time while working there and because I know some of them are reading this; I will miss you guys, the free breakfast and occasional lunch, the laughing and our random interesting conversations.

So this is officially the end of my studying abroad journey guys, two years later, three countries later and here we are.
I can honestly say this whole experience has been extremely life-changing and eye-opening, I am certainly not the same girl I was before I started. I am extremely thankful to God for this opportunity, my family and friends for supporting me every step of the way (I love you guys) and of course you guys for joining too. My advice to you, if you want to do something, just do it, even if you have to do it by yourself, do it anyways you can only learn from your mistakes and in the end, it will be worth it.
