Truth be told, I wasn’t going to post this outfit look or these photos online, not because of the quality, which is superb but just because of me. When I got these photos I looked at it for about 30 seconds and instantly decided to scrap them, why- because I wasn’t entirely happy with how I looked, or felt I could do better I guess. It’s funny how sometimes we see ourselves quite differently from everyone else. After showing my family and a friend some photos I finally I decided to post one on instagram and was actually surprised with the positive feedback I got, which really, opened my eye. Maybe sometimes I’m too tough on myself. I don’t consider myself a perfectionist but if something doesn’t look or feel right I follow my gut. Moral of the story, this time round I decided to follow everyone’s else judgement.
On another note, I’m back home in Ireland and it’s been quite weird. The first thing that hit me getting off the plane was the extreme cold, which apparently to everyone else was summer but i guess that’s the effect of living in such a warm country for so long. Besides the cold it’s been relatively good to be back, with the family and have some free time to really just chill and sleep. I’ve been also eating a lot of Nigerian food which has been awesome.
